August 23: Depart USA Boarding your evening flight to the Emerald Isle, you will be served dinner shortly after take off. The beautiful Emerald Isle awaits you.

August 24 Dublin Upon arrival at Dublin airport, collect your luggage and proceed to the arrivals hall. Once in Dublin we enjoy a tour of this wonderful European city and visit such sights as Trinity College which houses the Book of Kells, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. We also see O’Connell Street and the old Irish House of Parliament, which is now the Bank of Ireland. After check-in you are free to explore the city. This evening, a special Welcome Reception provides you the opportunity to meet your companions then the remainder of the evening is free. Overnight: Jurys Custom House Inn

August 25 Wicklow Today our drive is through County Wicklow, also known as the “Garden of Ireland”. We will visit Glendalough, where St. Kevin founded his 6th century monastic settlement. On then to the lovely town of Avoca where the popular TV series Ballykissangel was filmed. We return to Dublin for some free time in the afternoon to explore this cosmopolitan city. Tonight a great evening of dining and Irish style cabaret entertainment awaits you! Overnight: Jurys Custom House Inn

August 26 Dublin/Co Donegal Today we head to Sligo, where you will have the pleasure of joining your next Irish hosts for the evening and night¹s stay. Our route takes us across the midlands to Yeats Country, where we’ll learn of the famous works of this poet and writer and visit his grave at Drumcliffe Church. After dinner, perhaps enjoy some local entertainment in one of the pubs in town. Dinner and Overnight: B&B’s

August 27 Donegal Day Trip We travel through the rugged and beautiful county of Donegal. Our drive takes us along Donegal Bay to the fishing village of Killybegs and then northwards through the charming towns of Ardara and Glenties, the latter winning Ireland's Tidy Town Award. In the afternoon we visit the Belleek China Factory where this world renowned pottery is crafted. We return to our hosts for dinner and overnight. Dinner and Overnight: B&B’s

August 28 Knock/Cliffs/Bunratty Today we head south to the village of Knock, where we visit the Marian Shrine and Basilica, Ireland’s place of pilgrimage. We continue on through Galway before a visit to the majestic Cliffs of Moher. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner at the Bunratty Castle Medieval Banquet. Overnight: Radisson SAS Hotel

August 29 Adare/Killarney Lakes This morning we will travel south through the old world village of Adare to Killarney. In the afternoon enjoy a scenic view of the Lakes of Killarney or walk around the beautiful town of Killarney at your leisure. Dinner and Overnight: Killarney Towers Hotel

August 30 Ring of Kerry The Ring of Kerry drive takes us along the coastline of the Iveragh Peninsula and Dingle Bay, through the towns of Glenbeigh, Cahirciveen, Waterville and Sneem. Sit back in your seat and take in the beautiful scenery. We return to Killarney via Ladies View, which offers many scenic vistas. Why not opt to climb into a horse drawn cart for a tour of the lakes of Killarney stopping at the elegant Muckross House for a guided tour. Dinner and Overnight: Killarney Towers Hotel

August 31 Killarney/Kilkenny Traveling over the mountains of West Cork, we come to the village of Blarney, and a once in a lifetime chance to gain the gift of gab by kissing the stone at Blarney Castle. We continue on to the town of Cahir to visit Cahir Castle which was used in the film Excalibur. A special evening is in store for you tonight when you meet your Irish hosts and share dinner and conversation in their farmhouse. Dinner and Overnight: Kilkenny Farmhouses September 1 Kilkenny/Waterford Waterford City is our first stop today, with a special visit to the factory where the world famous Waterford Crystal is made. Once back in Kilkenny, there is plenty of time for a walking tour of the city including stops at the cathedral and Kilkenny Castle. The afternoon is free for shopping or additional sightseeing, before returning to your farmhouse for dinner with your hosts. Dinner and Overnight: Kilkenny Farmhouses
