July 5 & 6, 2023: Today we board our flight to London, England. We will arrive in London the following morning and we’ll be met by our local guide. It’s important to stay awake and we’ll do so with an interesting tour of London showing us the highlights of this incredible city with time for lunch along the way. This afternoon, we will transfer out to the Oxford area and check into our hotel. It is wonderful to be in England!
July 7: This morning we’ll explore this part of England which boasts some of the most beautiful countryside and charming towns in Europe. This is the fabled Cotswolds. We’ll show you some of our favorites including Bourton on the Water, Broadway and more. If time permits, we’ll make a photo stop at Blenheim Palace where Churchill was born. We will then transfer to the ship which sails at 5:00 this evening. Breakfast included at hotel and Dinner included on the ship.
July 8: At sea today making our way to Norway.
July 9: Port of Call in Bergen: Welcome to the heart of the famous Norwegian Fjords. This area is one of the scenic highlights of the cruise, and there is much to see and do. You can wander the interesting waterfront streets of the old city lined with colorful houses dating back to the middle ages. Or take the Funicular to the top of the mountain and take in the views. For those interested, we’ll have a private excursion to take you into the fjords of this area. The ship is in port from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
July 10: Port of Call in Olden: This is a new stop for 2023 and we are VERY excited about it. Olden is charming village in Western Norway, that is idyllically situated between steep mountains, blue glaciers and foaming waterfalls. It is the perfect Norway scene. You can enjoy time on your own in the village and surrounding area or join us for an excursion that showcases the village and surrounding fjords and mountain scenery. This is a delightful place to be able to see in Norway that will add a bit of icing to the cake! The ship is in port from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
July 11: Port of Call today in Geiranger, Norway. The scenery so far is hard to beat, but this is another spectacular stop on the west coast of Norway. The Geiranger Fjord is considered by many to be the most beautiful single fjord in all of Norway and you’ll have a chance to see that for yourself today. Our private excursion today will include a look around the town followed by a chance to enjoy the scenes of this world famous Geiranger Fjord. We are in port from 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
July 12: Port of Call in Haugesund: Set on the ocean, this lovely town has much to explore. Our private tour will show you the town where we’ll walk on the white sand beaches, see the impressive National Monument of Haraldshaugan and some time for browsing on Haraldsgala Street. We’ll drive up to the top of Steinsfjellet Trail and take in the breathtaking views of the town and the ocean. We are in port from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM today.
July 13: At sea today.
July 14: Ship arrives in Southampton today at 6:00 AM. We will transfer to the airport for our flight home, arriving on the evening of the same day (July 14).
*Note: As with any cruise, shore excursions are optional and not included in the price. You are free to join us on our excursions or choose from what the ship has to offer. Pricing for our private excursions will be available at the beginning of 2023.
Registration Information:
To make a reservation, simply fill out the attached reservation form and send it to us with a deposit of $400 per person. When we receive your deposit, we will mail you a receipt confirming that you are registered for the tour. A letter with instructions, hotel address, flight information and more will be sent be sent 100 days prior to departure at which time the balance will be due. You do not need to pay the balance until after you receive that packet. We require final payments in the form of a check. If that is not possible, arrangements can be made to use a credit card. Webb Tours accepts Visa, Mastercard and Discover for tour deposits.
Cancellation Penalties
We understand that you may need to cancel your trip for whatever reason. If it is 151 days or more before departure, all money will be refunded. If it is within 150 days, we will charge you only what the cruise line charges us. If cancellation occurs between 150 days and 31 days prior to departure, you will forfeit your deposit + other fees assessed by RCCL. If it is within 30 days of departure, additional penalties (up to the total amount) will apply. For airlines, specifically, tickets are generally non refundable when purchased. However, most airlines will allow the value of the canceled tickets to be reused for future travel, though a penalty may be assessed to reuse the tickets. If you have to cancel, Webb Tours will work with other providers to obtain as much refund as possible for our travelers. Our travelers know us to be very fair in this regard.
Cancellation Insurance:
Cancellation insurance is also available should you be interested. The insurance provider that we us is a company called Travelex. You can learn about them at www.travelexinsurance.com. With this insurance, most of your money will be returned to you in case you have to cancel for covered reasons (illness or death of an immediate family member) at the last minute. The price for the insurance varies based on the price of the trip and the age of the participant (at the time the insurance is purchased). Prices are as follows:
