Dubai & Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates
Overview

You have heard about it. You have wondered about it. You have thought about going… well believe us when we say that YOU REALLY WANT TO GO!

I was skeptical before I went. I WAS WRONG! There is just nothing in the world like it. It is quite fascinating to see what can be done with a colossal vision and few billion dollars (from oil and foreign investment) in the desert.

Dubai is a dazzling, futuristic global hub in the United Arab Emirates. It offers a blend of unimaginable modernity and rich Arabian heritage.  It is home to ultramodern skyscrapers, luxury shopping, artificial islands, pristine beaches, desert playgrounds and attractions that you have to see to believe.  Right next door (just two hours away) is Abu Dhabi. The Grand Mosque, the Presidential Palace, world class museums are just some of the highlights. This part of the world is a UNIQUE, SAFE, UNFORGETTABLE PLACE TO VISIT – and Webb Tours is going in November of 2026.

Demand will be heavy for this one. We encourage you to register early. Space is limited to 42 people.

Daily Itinerary:

November 9, 2026-Depart the USA: Depart the USA on overnight flight to Dubai arriving the following evening.

November 10 – Arrive in Dubai and transfer to the hotel. Dinner included at the hotel.  D

November 11 Here we go. After a nice breakfast, we’ll begin to see this incredible place. Our local guide will show us around. We will visit the world-famous Burj Al Arab Hotel, an architectural wonder built on an artificial island. We’ll actually take a tour inside. We then make a stop to see the outside of the Jumeriah Mosque which is STUNNING to see. This is a mosque that is open to non Muslims which is unique. We’ll stop by the famous Spice Souk and Gold Souk with their narrow passage ways filled with shops selling interesting herbs, spices, jewelry and LOTS more. It is a fun place to wander and get some lunch on your own.  We will experience one of the local ferry boats today. They are called Abra boats. They take us a short distance across the Dubai Creek. They are quite unique. You’ll have a bit of free time this afternoon. B, D

November 12 – Today our focus is on Modern Dubai. We will drive you along the world’s largest man made marina where we can see the luxury yachts set against the modern high rise buildings. We’ll stop at what the call the Dubai Frame which is said to be the largest frame in the world. Looking through it, provides the best pictures of Dubai – where you can see the old and the new. We will then show you the famous Palm Jumeriah – another type of place you will only see here. You actually drive in along the trunk of a “palm tree” and onto its “fronds” is home to exclusive villas and views of the Persian Gulf.  This afternoon, we will visit the world’s tallest building – Burj Khalifa. The views from  the observation area at 1475 feet are breathtaking. At the base of teh Burj Khalifa is a massive shopping mall. And just outside is the famous Dubai Fountain. Mini shows set to music are happening routinely once it is dark. There are 100+ restaurants in the area and you can enjoy dinner on your own before returning back to our hotel.  B

November 13 – You’ll have a free morning to do your own thing. There is lots to do in the area of the hotel. After lunch, we’ll have some fun in the dessert. We call it “Desert Safari!” Our safari guides will take us in a very safe four wheel drive jeep into the sand dunes of Arabia. You just have to experience it. Drivers are very capable and safe. You can let them know how much “thrill” you’d like. It is GREAT FUN. This evening, we’ll watch a lovely sunset in the desert before we journey to a Bedouin campsite for a barbecue dinner under the stars. Those that want to ride a camel will have the opportunity to do it. There is some entertainment with the dinner as well.  B, D

November 14We have two more places to show you today. This morning, we will visit the famous Miracle Gardens of Dubai.  Yes, this is a desert. But with an endless budget and lots of sunshine, they have created some stunning gardens that are well worth seeing. There are fun places here for lunch on your own. We’ll spend the afternoon at Global Village Dubai. It’s like an Epcot Center of the Middle East. There are country themed pavilions with over 90 countries represented. It is interesting and educational – and it’s another must see in this place. After a rest at the hotel, we’ll enjoy a relaxing 3 hour dinner cruise featuring a renowned international buffet. It’s a fabulous meal and setting. B, D

November 15Today after breakfast, we check out of our hotel in Dubai and make our way to Abu Dhabi. It’s only 2 1/2 hours away. We’ll enjoy lunch together at a local restaurant before visiting the area’s most famous museum: The Louvre Abu Dhabi. The museum houses a universal collection spanning human history from pre historic times to contemporary art – focusing on art that highlights the rich cultures of the Middle East. It is beautifully done. We will check into the lovely Pearl Rotana hotel and you’ll have free time this evening. B, L

November 16After a nice breakfast, we will visit what I think is among the most beautiful Mosques in the world. It is called the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. It is one of the largest in the world with over 80 domes, gold gilded chandeliers and over 1,100 columns. It is an architectural masterpiece. After lunch, we’ll take you to that is called “Heritage Village” to see what life was like in a typical village before the 1950’s oil boom that changed everything. There are local artisans showing what life was like and it is very interesting and a fun place to get some souvenirs.  We’ll make a photo stop at Emirates Palace on the way back to the hotel. B

November 17 – We’ll spend the morning seeing the old and the new presidential palaces. We’ll start at the Hosn Palace with oversaw the coastal trade routes and is home to an interesting museum highlighting the history of Abu Dhabi. We’ll then see the Qasr Al Watan which is the working presidential palace and another architectural masterpiece. We will see the impressive Great Hall, the Library and what they call the Houses of Knowledge. The rest of the afternoon is free to rest for the trip home – or to see what is most interesting to you. We’ll have a farewell dinner tonight. We will stay in the hotel until around midnight before transferring to the airport for our flights home.  B, D

November 18 – Arrive back home on the evening of November 18.
