November 30: Depart the USA: Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Munich, Germany
December 1: Welcome to Munich, where you’ll be greeted by one of our Emerald Cruises representatives and transferred to your contemporary Emerald Star-Ship in Passau. A warm welcome awaits you from the captain and crew. This evening, join your fellow guests for dinner on board. Your ship will remain docked here overnight if you would like to go ashore and visit Passau’s Christmas markets at night, when they will be beautifully illuminated. Meal: D
December 2 – Passau: This important historic trading center, known as the ‘City of Three Rivers’ – where three of Europe’s main waterways converge – borders Austria and showcases a distinctive blend of cultures. Its beautiful Stroll through the charming Christmas Market in Bratislava historic centre features charming Baroque buildings, stunning riverside views and narrow cobblestone streets, all infused with the aroma of freshly baked gingerbread. In front of the green-domed façade of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Passau’s annual Christkindlmarkt can be found. Here, you can sample some delicious warm Glühwein and freshly baked goods. Back on board your Emerald Star-Ship tonight, enjoy live local entertainment showcasing typical Bavarian musical traditions. Meals: B, L, D
December 3 – Linz: Today you will be docked in Linz, the capital of Upper Austria and Austria’s third biggest city after Vienna and Graz. The historical old town has a mix of Baroque and Renaissance architecture, and hand carved nativity scenes are on display in many of its churches, creating a serene and contemplative Christmas experience. December 4: Today, enjoy a morning sailing on your Star-Ship as it sails through the fascinating Wachau Valley, part of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Wachau Cultural Landscape. After enjoying free time in Melk this morning, sail to Dürnstein. This afternoon, embark on a guided
tour of Göttweig Abbey, a true treasure overlooking the valley from a hill covered by vineyards and forests. Built in 1083, it’s one of Austria’s most important Benedictine abbeys, attracting visitors from around the globe. Run by a community of about 45 monks, it’s visible from a great distance and provides epic panoramas from the grounds. As part of the tour you get to taste the delightful Göttweig wine, which is a tradition well kept by the monks throughout centuries. Meals: B, L, D

This ornate cityscape was home to famous musicians and composers like Mozart and Beethoven, Explore Europe’s magical Christmas Markets and the father of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud. It has a magical atmosphere over Christmas, with elaborate decorations and more than 20 festive markets. Meals: B, L, D

December 6 – Budapest, Hungary: Offering an abundance of historical whimsy, Budapest is known for its architectural diversity and famed monuments that pepper both sides of the Danube. The locals soak in the city’s many thermal baths to beat the crisp chill of the season. This evening, an on board traditional Hungarian folklore show is certain to delight. Meals: B, L, D

December 7: Budapest, Hungary / USA: After breakfast, bid farewell to your fellow travelers as you disembark the ship. Transfer to the Budapest airport, taking home warm memories of Europe at Christmastime. Meal: B
Registration Information:
A $400 deposit is required to reserve your space. To make a reservation, simply register online by completing the booking form above. Your deposit will be charged to your credit card. If you prefer, you can call us and we will take your reservation information and credit card details over the phone. When we receive your reservation, we will email you a receipt confirming that you are registered for the tour. A letter with instructions, hotel itinerary, flight information (if applicable) and luggage tags will be sent roughly 100 days prior to departure. Your final payment will be due roughly 90 days before departure. You do not need to pay the balance until after you receive that package. We prefer final payments in the form of a check. Webb Tours also accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. A 2.5% fee applies to final payments made by credit card to cover a portion of the credit card company fees (which are now around 4%)
Cancellation Penalties
We understand that you may need to cancel your trip for whatever reason. Due to the high demand for river cruises and the rules enforced by our suppliers, the deposit is non refundable once paid. If it is 95 days or more before departure, all money in excess of the $400 deposit will be refunded. Here is a summary of the cancellation penalties:
For airlines, specifically, tickets are generally non refundable when purchased. However, most airlines will allow the value of the canceled tickets to be reused for future travel, though a penalty may be assessed to reuse the tickets.

Unexpected flight cancellations or weather delays: Webb Tours works diligently to cover all of the details associated with your travel. We make sure that all ground transportation, lodging, local tours, restaurants, specialists, etc, are in place and awaiting our arrival. We ensure that our directors are well prepared to provide you with an experience that exceeds your expectations. One thing we do NOT control are the airlines. Significant problems can arise on a group tour due to canceled flights, weather delays or missed connections. In the case of a flight cancellation, Webb Tours will do all we can to work with the airline to move people to the next available flights. Any portion of the tour that is missed due to flight delays or cancellations is NOT the financial responsibility of Webb Tours. Refunds will not be given for hotels, ground transportation, activities or meals that are missed due to flight interruptions. This is another good reason to purchase the travel insruance which has a provision for missed connections (see Group Premier product flyer referenced above for details).
