Webb Tours has taken many groups to Europe. In my opinion, Norway is the most beautiful country in Europe. The combination of mountains, fjords, ocean countryside and waterfalls makes it a stunning place to see. Because of that, it is also the most expensive country in Europe, WHICH IS WHY A CRUISE IS THE BEST WAY TO SEE IT. No hotel rooms or meals to pay for while on land – but still being able to enjoy the incredible scenery. Wonderful excursions are available at each port.*
ADD TO THAT, a chance to enjoy a bit of London and the spectacular Cotswold Villages and you have an exceptional cruise that is not to be missed!
But this is popular and to get the best stateroom, you should get on board early – REMEMBER, you can cancel anytime for any reason up to March 1, 2024, so don’t be left out!
Prices include:
We have negotiated EXCELLENT pricing for this 11 DAY England/Norway Cruise Tour. Register EARLY for best stateroom availability and location. Staterooms are available on a first come/first served basis.
A passport is required for this cruise.
July 10 & 11, 2024: Today we board our flight to London, England. We will arrive in London the following morning and we’ll be met by our local guide. It’s important to stay awake and we’ll do so with an interesting tour of London showing us the highlights of this incredible city with time for lunch along the way. This afternoon, we will transfer out to the Oxford area and check into our hotel. It is wonderful to be in England! Dinner is included near the hotel this evening.
July 12: This morning we’ll explore this part of England which boasts some of the most beautiful countryside and charming towns in Europe. This is the fabled Cotswolds. We’ll show you some of our favorites including Bourton on the Water, Broadway and more. If time permits, we’ll make a photo stop at Blenheim Palace where Winston Churchill was born. We will then transfer to the ship which sails at 5:30 this evening. Breakfast included at hotel and Dinner included on the ship.
July 13: At sea today making our way to Norway.
July 14: Port of Call in Stavanger, Norway: Perched on Norway’s dramatic western coast, Stavenger is a city full of historic architecture, quaint cafes and ocean views. We’ll spend a little time in Gamle Stavanger, the picturesque old town, where we find well-preserved wooden buildings dating back to the 18th century painted in unique pastel hues. We will then take a short trip to Prekestol, the “Preacher’s Pulpit,” a rocky natural viewing point overlooking Lyse Fjord. It’s a postcard view in every direction. We are in port from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Note: In each port, Webb Tours will offer a private excursion for a price that is much lower than what the ship offers and with better quality. You’ll have the chance to join our excursions or book a diffeerent one through the ship. Shore Excursions are not included in the tour price.
July 15: Port of Call in Flam, Norway: Arriving in Flam feels like stepping into a fairy tale. Home to only 350 inhabitants, the village is situated at the inner end of the Aurlandsfjorden, the world’s deepest fjord reaching a staggering 4,300 feet. We plan to take a brief sstrool to the Fllam Railwayy and take the 12-mile ride through the Myrdal Mountains and along the fjord. One of the highlights is the waterfall at Stalheimsfossen which will take your breath away. There are beautiful views in every direction. This is considered by many to be the most beautiful part of Norway. We’ll be in port from 8:00 to 5:00.
July 16: Port of Call in Alesnd, Norway: Alesund is a small but lively city with a unique modern feel. A rebuilding effort following a major fire in 1904 gave the city its distinctive Art Nouveau — or “Jugendstil” — architectural style which is fun to see. Those who want some exercise can walk up the 418 steps to the city’s peak, Aksla where you’ll be rewarded with a gorgeous panoramic view on the city, the islands and the rugged Sunnmorsalpane mountain range. Details about our private excursion will be available in January, 2024. We’ll be in port from 8:00 to 6:00.
July 17: Port of Call in Bergen: Welcome to the heart of the famous Norwegian Fjords. This area is one of the scenic highlights of the cruise, and there is much to see and do. You can wander the interesting waterfront streets of the old city lined with colorful houses dating back to the middle ages. Or take the Funicular to the top of the mountain and take in the views. For those interested, we’ll have a private excursion to take you into the fjords of this area in a small ship. The ship is in port from 7:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
July 18: At sea today.
July 19: Ship arrives in Southampton today at 6:00 AM. We will transfer to the airport for our flight home, arriving on the evening of the same day (July 19).
*Note: As with any cruise, shore excursions are optional and not included in the price. You are free to join us on our excursions or choose from what the ship has to offer. Pricing for our private excursions will be available at the beginning of 2024.
