Webb Tours has taken many groups to all parts of Europe.  Norway is, without question, one of the most beautiful country in Europe.  The combination of mountains, fjords, ocean, countryside and waterfalls makes it a stunning place to see.  Because of that, it is also the most expensive country in Europe, WHICH IS WHY A CRUISE IS THE BEST WAY TO SEE IT.  No hotel rooms or meals to pay for while on land – but still being able to enjoy the incredible scenery.  Wonderful private excursions are available at each port that are significantly less than what the ship charges.

July 7 and 8, 2027:  Today we board our flight to London, England.  We will arrive in London  the following morning and we’ll be met by our local guide. It’s important to stay awake and we’ll do so with an interesting tour of London showing us the highlights of this incredible city with time for lunch along the way. This afternoon, we will transfer out to the Oxford area and check into our hotel. It is wonderful to be in England! We’ll stay at the Hampton Inn Oxford for two nights. Dinner is included near the hotel this evening. D

July 9:  Welcome to the famous Midlands of England. This is England as you picture it – the the endless green, rolling hills, quaint towns, interesting history and so much more. This morning we will have a guided tour of Blenheim Palace where Winston Churchill was born. The grounds are stunning and the stately mansion is definitely worth seeing. Winston proposed to his wife, Clementine, in the gardens here. We will go into nearby Oxford where you can get some lunch on Grenwich Green. This is a collection of food stalls showcasing food from all over the world. In the afternoon, we’ll be joined by an excellent guide who will show us around the university and the town on a really interesting tour – some by coach and some on foot. We’ll walk throgh the heart of the old college buildings and go inside some very interesting places. At the end of the tour, you can shop, go “punting” on the river, or get a treat at the bakery. We stay at the Hampton inn again this evening.  B

July 10: This morning we’ll explore this part of England which boasts some of the most beautiful countryside and charming towns in Europe. This is the fabled Cotswolds. We’ll show you some of our favorites including Broadway with it’s “perfect” street and also Bibury which is one of the most photographed in England.  We will then transfer to the ship which sails at 5:00 this evening. Breakfast included at hotel and Dinner included on the ship. B and cruise ship meals

July 11:  At sea today making our way to Norway.

July 12: Port of Call in Haugesund, Norway: Our first stop isn’t quite to the mountain scenery yet. It is the laid back town of Haugesund. We will be in port from 9am to 5pm. We’ll start our excursion at 9:00. We will show you a bit of Haugesund on the way out of toen. We will pass through the old town where rich shipowners of the city lived in the nineteenth century. We then head about 45 minutes south to the charming old town of Skudeneshavn; a town that boasts about one hundred and thirty white wooden houses typical of the nineteenth century, when herring fishing was at its peak. This allowed the region to prosper quickly. We will stroll through the narrow streets of Skudeneshavn while our guide tells us local stories and legends that made this town famous. At the end of the walk, we have included a delicious piece of Carrot Cake from Verden’s Café, known as “the smallest café in the world”. You’ll have some free time for pictures of the colorful harbor scenes, boats and more. It’s a charming part of Norway.

Note: In each port, Webb Tours will offer a private excursion for a price that is much lower than what the ship offers and with better quality. You’ll have the chance to join our excursions or book a diffeerent one through the ship. Shore Excursions are not included in the tour price. 

July 13:  Port of Call in Skjolden, Norway:  Skjolden is a picturesque village in Vestland County, Western Norway. It’s located at the head of the Sognefjorden, the longest navigable fjord in the world. On our private excursion today showcases Norway’s famous mountain scenery. We will enjoy a scenic ride on our comortable motor coach across the road through Sognefjellet National Park.  We will spend an hour in the charming town of Lom and we have included admission into the Lom Stave Church dating back to the 12th Century and one of the oldest in Norway. The architecture combines the pegan images known to the Vikings with Christian symbols. It’s an important part of any visit to Norway as they only exist here. As we make our way back through the natioanal park, we will make plenty of photo stop to take in the scenery. Rising over 4,700 feet, this mountain pass is Northern Europe’s highest and boasts some stunning views of the impressive Jotunheimen Mountains. Aptly named ‘Home of the Giants,‘ they’re home to some of the highest mountains in Europe north of the Alps; in fact, there are 24 peaks that soar 6,560 feet above sea level.  We’ll make a stop at the alpine resort of Sognefjellshytta for a refreshment (maybe try some Norwegian waffles).  On our return trip to port, our motorcoach will stop at a number of dazzling viewpoints so you can stretch your legs and get some memorable photos of cascading waterfalls, notable monuments, and historic sites. After our private excursion, you will have some additional time in quaint town. 

July 14:  Port of Call in Olden, Norway:  This is one of my favorite places in Norway and very few cruise ships can stop because it is very small and charming.  Olden has a population of just 505 and is home to some of Norway’s most breathtaking glaciers. Our excursion will take us to Briksdal Glacier where you can walk up to the glacier viewpoint or go in a vehicle that will take you most of the way. It’s refreshing to feel the spray of the waterfalls as you make your way up. The views are truly out of this world. Back in town, you can see the picturesque church, do some shopping or just sit and take in this quintessential Norway scene. 

July 15: Port of Call in Stavanger, Norway: Perched on Norway’s dramatic western coast, Stavenger is a city full of historic architecture, quaint cafes and ocean views. We’ll spend a little time in Gamle Stavanger, the picturesque old town, where we find well-preserved wooden buildings dating back to the 18th century painted in unique pastel hues. Our private excursion today includes a 3 hour boat excursion down the fabulous Lysefjord – showcasing that scenery for which Norway is famous. We’ll pass under iconic Pulpit Rock which looks down on the fjord. It’s a relaxing and scenic journey that our groups have loved. You’ll have some time in town when we get back and you’ll need it because it is a fun town to explore.

July 16: At sea today.

July 17:  Ship arrives in Southampton today at 7:00 AM.  We will transfer to the airport for our flight home, arriving on the evening of the same day (July 17).

*Note: As with any cruise, shore excursions are optional and not included in the price. You are free to join us on our excursions or choose from what the ship has to offer. Pricing for our private excursions will be available in the fall of 2026.

Registration Information:

A $400 deposit is required to reserve your space. To make a reservation, simply register online by completing the booking form above. Your deposit will be charged to your credit card. If you prefer, you can call us and we will take your reservation information and credit card details over the phone.  When we receive your reservation, we will email you a receipt confirming that you are registered for the tour.  A letter with instructions, hotel itinerary, flight information (if applicable) and luggage tags will be sent roughly 125 days prior to departure at which time the balance will be due.  You do not need to pay the balance until after you receive that package.  We prefer final payments in the form of a check.  Webb Tours also accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. A 2.5% fee applies to final payments made by credit card to cover a portion of the credit card company fees (which are now around 4%)

Cancellation Policy:

We understand that you may need to cancel your trip for unforeseen reasons.  If cancellation occurs 150 days or more before departure, all money will be refunded.  If airline tickets are purchased prior to that time (with your permission), they are the responsibility of the traveler. In most cases, airlines will allow the value of airline tickets to be used for future travel.  All other funds will be returned if cancellation occurs outside of 150 days.  If it is within 150 days, your deposit and other committed funds are non refundable.

Unforeseen events such as flight delays, baggage loss or even sudden sickness or injury could impact your travel plans. Unexpected flight cancellations or weather delays:  Webb Tours works diligently to cover all of the details associated with your travel. We make sure that all ground transportation, lodging, local tours, restaurants, specialists, etc, are in place and awaiting our arrival. We ensure that our directors are well prepared to provide you with an experience that exceeds your expectations.  One thing we do NOT control are the airlines. Significant problems can arise on a group tour due to canceled flights, weather delays or missed connections. In the case of a flight cancellation, Webb Tours will do all we can to work with the airline to move people to the next available flights. Any portion of the tour that is missed due to flight delays or cancellations is NOT the financial responsibility of Webb Tours. Refunds will not be given for hotels, ground transportation, activities or meals that are missed due to flight interruptions. This is another good reason to purchase the travel insruance which has a provision for missed connections (see Group Premier product flyer referenced above for details).  Your participation in the tour signifies that you understand and accept this policy.
